I came across an app which helps in doing long and complex calculations for treating cancer patients. I thought it would be worthy sharing about this.
Vodafone Foundation in the United Kingdom has developed an app named Dreamlab. The app uses your phone’s computational power to download and solve problems. The solutions to these problems are then uploaded back to the Vodafone servers which are powering different projects. The computational power is used when you have plugged in your phone for charging and you get free Internet for the Dream Lab usage if you are a Vodafone UK user. I’ve attached a few screen shots of the app.
